eXmerce Supports SIFE Calgary’s Newest Initiative Sprout
Calgary, Alberta (February 23, 2010) – eXmerce will be working with SIFE Calgary to create positive change within the community focusing on environmental initiatives.
“We’re thrilled to partner with SIFE Calgary in an effort to raise awareness on how individuals and organizations can support the movement to go green!” said Nelson Liem, Founder and President of eXmerce. “Through our community network, it’s an opportunity for eXmerce members to get involved and to also provide business insight and support to business students at the University of Calgary in the areas of market economics, success skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, the environment, ethics, and sustainability.”
Throughout the month of March, SIFE Calgary’s Sprout will be hosting a series of events, on and off campus. Some events include: A Commuter Challenge, Careers in Sustainability information session, A Closet Swap, and A Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast. SIFE Calgary is a student club at the University of Calgary that is composed of passionate and active members. Each and every one of our students participates in at least one of our 15 projects. Our goal is to promote student and community awareness and action.
