Members of the emerce retail trade exchange and to do that

with will be shared unless you notify us in writing not to share that
information. Please do not provide us with any contact information
you wish to remain private.
In connection with your payment arrangements you have provided us
with bank account, name, account number and location. You may also

expiration dates. This information is regarded as completely private
and will not be shared with any other company or Member of the emerce
retail trade exchange, but may be disclosed to banks and credit card
process companies to process payments from you.
Communication Tracking
Any time you contact an emerce employee or an emerce trade broker, a record of that communication will be maintained
by emerce . This includes both the content of telephone calls,
e-mails and letters. These records will also include comments of
other Members about you and any transactions that you may have entered
with them. This information may be used to help resolve disputes
with our own accounting department or with another Member. We may
also ask your opinion of services that which we offer or plan to
offer to analyze our performance or opportunities.
Transaction Tracking
We maintain records of every sale and purchase that transfer into
or out of your emerce account. We also maintain records
of each transaction fee charged to you whether it is in currency
or trade credits.
Transaction Facilitation
emerce will provide your contact information to other Members
so that they may contact you to solicit your business, and to obtain
services or goods from your business unless you have asked in writing
that we maintain your identity as "broker managed" in
which case we will not disclose your name in a Member directory.
We may solicit Members on your behalf and will inform Members how
they may contact you unless you request to be broker managed.
Access to Personal Information
We allow you to access the following information about you for the
purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating that information.
This list will change as our website changes: Account addresses,
Account numbers, Phone and Fax Numbers, Contact Names and E-mail
Addresses.
Security
emerce account personal information is protected by a password
for your privacy and security. You need to ensure unauthorized access
to your account and personal information by selecting and protecting
your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer
and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your
account.
Strategic Alliances
From time to time emerce may enter into alliances with other
companies to market goods or services not currently being offered
by emerce . In connection with such alliances, emerce
may furnish your contact information to others so that we may send
you information on the goods and services they have contracted with
emerce to provide. emerce will not furnish any confidential
information to such alliances without your consent. Members may
opt out and elect not to allow even contact information to be shared
with our strategic alliances, but you may not opt out of the information
being provided to other Members, brokers or emerce corporate
employees. To the extent you link to another site from our website
emerce Barter Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices
of other sites.
General
emerce will cooperate with any investigation with any jurisdiction's
police authorities in their investigation of the utilization of
the emerce Barter Inc. for criminal activities and will
comply with any subpoena or court order requiring the turnover of
Member information that we believe is necessary to protect emerce from liability. Your use of the emerce barter exchange and
any emerce website constitute your acceptance of these policies.
These policies may be modified by emerce Barter Inc. at
any time. Changes in policy will be posted on our website.
Business Transfers
If emerce , or substantially all of its assets were acquired,
or in the unlikely event that emerce goes out of business
or enters bankruptcy, Member information would be one of the assets
that is transferred or acquired by a third party. In some cases,
we may choose to buy or sell assets. You acknowledge that such transfers
may occur, and that any acquirer of emerce may continue
